UPC Bar Code Font Set

UPC barcode sample  The UPC (Universal Product Code)  barcode is used on virtually all retail products in North America (United States and Canada). The only exception is for books, which use the Bookland bar code. Each UPC barcode is a unique 12 digit number that identifies one specific product. All UPC bar code numbers are assigned by GS1. You can not just make your own barcode number up. UPC bar codes can range in size from 1.0 x .25 to 1.5 x 1 in size (width x height).

The solution. The fastest and easiest way to make your own UPC barcode it to use our software. You just type any UPC bar code number into the software and click a button to build a barcode. Our software will calculate your checksum and make the UPC bar code for you. You can print as many barcodes as you like, on labels, in your packaging, or even export the bar code in standard graphic formats and send it to someone else to print. You control both the height and width of the UPC barcode you want to print.

Printing labels. Printing sheets of UPC bar codes has never been easier. Just run our utility, type any UPC number in, and generate a barcode with a single click. Use the Print Labels button to select the size of the label you want to print your UPC bar code on. Our barcode label templates cover all standard label sizes. Once selected, your label template appears in your Word processor, where you can add text and even graphics to your barcode label. View our flash tutorial to see just how easy this is to do.

Exporting barcodes. If you need to send your UPC bar code to someone else to print, our software will export your UPC barcode in bmp, gif, jpg, or png formats. You have a choice of four different resolutions including 300, 600, 900, and 1200 dpi. Our UPC bar code software lets you control both the height and the width of the UPC barcode you are building.

Making multiple barcodes. If you need to generate large numbers of different UPC bar codes we have the solution. This software includes Visual Basic macros that work directly inside Excel, Access, and Word to build your barcodes. For example, add our macros to Excel and you can make a cell with a new formula that builds UPC bar codes directly from the data you want to bar code. This is an easy way to generate thousands of barcodes all at once.

Free trial and Tutorial. Still not sure if this UPC product is right for you? Try the flash tutorial first to see just how our UPC bar code software works.
